People of Action

The Windham Rotary Club officially received its charter on February 6, 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter of service and connection. Our mission is to strengthen our community through meaningful service projects, build deeper connections through an engaging speaker program, and enjoy the journey along the way.

Right now, we’re actively planning new initiatives, seeking inspiring speakers, and looking for project partners to collaborate with us, while also exploring creative fundraising ideas. It’s an exciting time to get involved—and we’d love for you to be part of it. Joining us now means having the opportunity to help shape our club and make a meaningful impact from the very start.

Club News & Stories

What began as a conversation about whether Windham needed another service organization quickly grew into a thriving new Rotary Club. Following a highly successful informational meeting on September 24, 2025, that attracted more than 50 interested community members, a group of dedicated charter members came together to establish the Windham Rotary Club. Since then, the club has remained committed to serving the community through meaningful projects and continues to grow its impact. As the club looks to the future, it welcomes anyone interested in service and community involvement to join a meeting and learn more.

Rotary attendance is less about perfect meeting attendance and more about staying actively involved through service, fellowship, and participation in club activities.

Members of the Windham Rotary Club showed off their trivia skills on May 12 at Trivia Night hosted by The Windham Restaurant. With a team made up of Shauna and her daughter, Jim and Susan, Ric, and Jaimie, the group used their combined knowledge — and the advantage of only facing one other team — to capture the championship title in a fun-filled evening of laughs and friendly competition.
