Members of the Windham Rotary Club showed off their trivia skills on May 12 at Trivia Night hosted by The Windham Restaurant. With a team made up of Shauna and her daughter, Jim and Susan, Ric, and Jaimie, the group used their combined knowledge — and the advantage of only facing one other team — to capture the championship title in a fun-filled evening of laughs and friendly competition.
Members of the Windham Rotary Club put their brainpower to the test on May 12 during Trivia Night at The Windham Restaurant — and walked away victorious. Team members included Shauna and her daughter, Jim and Susan, Ric, and Jaimie, who combined their knowledge, teamwork, and a few well-timed guesses to claim the championship title.
The team’s secret weapon may have been its variety of ages and backgrounds, giving them an edge on everything from history and geography to pop culture and random facts no one ever expects to need in real life. Of course, having only one other team competing didn’t hurt their chances either.
Even so, the evening was full of laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of Rotary camaraderie. The team is already rumored to be preparing to defend its title next year — especially if a third team shows up to make things interesting.
